We invite you to Come Grow With Us.
Altar Servers assist the priest during Mass. They set an example to all through active participation in the liturgy.
Servers carry the cross and the processional candle(s). They serve the priest in many ways, such as holding the book for the priest when needed, and presenting the bread, wine, and water to the priest during the preparation of the gifts.
An Altar Server must have received First Reconciliation and First Communion. Altar Servers arrive 20 minutes before Mass to get dressed and prepared to serve.
Contact the Acolyte or Fr. Larry for training at the Mass you would like to assist with.
The Music Ministry at Santa Rosa Catholic church is a vibrant, volunteer-centered program that services our parish community during all 4 Masses. This is an invaluable treasure. The main reason for this pre-eminence is that, as sacred song is united to the words, it forms a necessary or integral part of the solemn liturgy and song selections follow the Planning Calendar for the current liturgical year. The liturgy is in turn at the heart of our Catholic faith.
